Press & Storytelling Officer

We are seeking a talented storyteller to work with our beneficiaries in order to celebrate the work of The Proud Trust and LGBT+ young people. They will be a motivated, skilled and resilient person with experience of copywriting for public release and a good understanding of the UK media landscape as we seek to grow our support of LGBT+ young people both regionally and nationally.

Working collaboratively within the current Media and Comms team, the Press and Storytelling Officer will oversee the charity’s inhouse press office, acting as first point of contact for all incoming media enquiries. A key part of the role will be gathering stories from our beneficiaries to better tell The Proud Trust’s story.

This vacancy is for:

18.75 hours per week for a 12 months fixed term post (with potential to extend the role, funding dependent)
