The programme aims to build a much-needed bridge between university and the working world, by giving young marketers essential support and encouraging them to confidently thrive in the workplace.

Marketers Making Moves builds a much-needed bridge between university and the working world by giving young marketers essential support.
Once applying to Marketers Making Moves, mentees will be paired with mentors based on their career ambitions and how they want to develop their practical skills. Events will be held via Zoom and mentees will receive a Girls in Marketing handbook to track their progress. Mentors will also have regular training sessions to ensure they can give the best guidance to mentees. The GiM team will be there to support both mentors and mentees every step of the way, as we want to see marketers making MOVES during the programme.
Marketers Making Moves builds a much-needed bridge between university and the working world by giving young marketers essential support. They’ll be learning how to apply technical software such as Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads Manager, Mailchimp, and SEO software such as SEMRush. In our recent survey, 100% of final year and recent university graduates said they felt they could further benefit from learning more about these technical elements. This needs to change ASAP.
We ask all of our mentors and mentees to be completely committed to the programme throughout the duration (this will be August 2021 till January 2022) since it will be a learning experience for both people. We ask mentors to be committed to the growth of their mentees and vice versa.
