Some of these marketing courses do have a price but we’ve tried to keep it to the most affordable options since we believe you shouldn’t have to pay for education!

Future Learn – How to Create a Social Media Campaign Course (FREE)
Do you want to know how to plan and launch successful social media marketing campaigns? This Future Learn course in collaboration with the Institute of Coding and the University of Leeds will help you discover the different components of a social media campaign and how to measure your success. It also explores the difference between both paid and organic social media marketing. It’s totally free and only requires around 4 hours of your time. Since the course has already passed, you can do it at your own pace!
Moz SEO Basics Course (FREE)
Learn the basics of Search Engine Optimisation with the Moz SEO Basics course which includes hours of video footage for you to enjoy and learn more about SEO as a whole. The course claims to be only one hour (in total) but feel free to take more time digesting any information on the page and through video.
Delve into the six core components of SEO throughout this quick course including link building, SEO strategy and keyword research too. This is perfect for a wide range of people, even if you’re a beginner you can get started with this marketing course. We would say it’s one of the best marketing courses out there. Plus, it’s FREE!
Grow Your Pinterest Traffic with Ell (around $50)
Do you want to become a Pinterest mastermind and increase your website traffic in a few short months? Ell Duclos Pinterest course is the best Pinterest strategy course out there for those getting started, especially if you’re a blogger wanting to improve your marketing strategies. Pinterest can be extremely overwhelming for even the most experienced digital marketer so making sense of it is great! While this is around $50 normally, Ell sometimes has sales on throughout the year which you should take advantage of if you don’t want to fork out for the course’s original price.
SEO Made Simple Neil Patel Step-by-Step Guide (FREE)
SEO is complex for even those in the digital industry who specialise in it, no one knows exactly how it works so essentially, it’s just a guessing game for everyone. However, Neil Patel is a key digital marketer in the YouTube world who has written down his tips and tricks of SEO in this guide. While it’s not a course, his guide along with the accompanying YouTube videos are great for anyone looking for one of the best marketing courses out there. Even if this doesn’t sound like your sort of thing, Neil’s website has tons of engaging and interesting marketing content to check out so it’s worth having a look.
SEO for Shopify and Ecommerce Websites by Udemy (FREE)
Join Jason Miles as he explains all about SEO for Shopify and Ecommerce websites, but don’t worry, it’s for non-techies! The course is only a short one, just under 2 hours of content. However, it’s still a great way to understand the basic SEO tools everyone should be used as well as information about backlinks, optimising your collection pages and how to eliminate 404 errors.
Hubspot Academy: Content Marketing Course (FREE)
Learn more about content marketing with the Hubspot FREE course, it gives you the ability to become a stronger, and more strategic content marketer as well as the knowledge to write content that will rank on Google. It’s suitable for all different types of content marketers, from beginners, to experts. The course is great way to add to your current knowledge and learn some new and exciting stuff around content.
Digital Marketing Bootcamp: Social Media Marketing Course (FREE)
Anyone wanting to improve their knowledge of social media should have a look at this course being offered for free by Acadoceo Academy. The course is tailored to business owners or those wanting to improve their business social media strategy, but this still applies to you, even if you’re a girl in marketing just getting started. Codecademy’s Learn Basic HTML Course (FREE)
While coding and HTML isn’t always thought of as being directly related to marketing, many content and SEO roles will require you to have a basic understanding of HTML. This free course by Codecademy is sure to give you that necessary knowledge. HTML is the foundation of all web pages, knowing how it works and feeling confident with HTML (on a basic level) is a great skill to add to your CV. This course is around 9 hours, so there’s a lot of interesting information to take in and get to grips with.
Hubspot Academy’s – An Introduction to Email Marketing (FREE)
Fancy getting a Hubspot certification to say you’ve mastered the basics of email marketing? This course may be the next thing you want to put your time into! The course will teach you how to create an email marketing strategy that can grow and scale with any business. It also covers the basics of segmentation and how to build a huge email list! The duration is just over 3 hours and it has 11 lessons, so it may be time to sit down with a cup of your favorite hot drink and get comfortable while you learn about email marketing.
Yoast SEO for Beginners Course (FREE)
SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) is a critical part of any digital marketing strategy and if you’ve never considered venturing out into it, taking a basic course can be a great way to understand if you’d like to work in that area. Yoast is a WordPress plug in too, so if your website (or blog) uses WordPress, you’ll be familiar with the best practices for good SEO. Copywriting is the basis of so many websites, in fact, most digital marketing positions will require you to have a knowledge of how to write copy/content.
